Laminor 8

Laminor | لامینور

Laminor : لامینور : "Laminor" marks the latest creation by Dariush Mehrjui, co-written with Vahideh Mohammadifar. Initially scheduled for release on March 9, 2022, its debut was postponed due to the failure to obtain a new exhibition license from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the thirteenth government. Consequently, the film was officially removed from the Nowruz 2022 screening lineup and later premiered in cinemas on April 27, 2022.

After a hiatus of six years following "Ashbah" (2013), Mehrjui returned to filmmaking with "Laminor". This project reunited him with Ali Nasirian after forty years. The production was led by Reza Dormishian, with Abdullah Eskandari collaborating once more as the makeup designer, marking their sixth joint venture after notable works like "Hamoun," "Banoo," "Pari," "The Pear Tree," and "The Lost Cousin."
