Shahab Hosseini

Shahab Hosseini (شهاب حسینی) is a versatile director and actor in the realms of theater, television, and cinema, born in 1974 in Tehran, Iran. His professional journey commenced with the role of Amir Ghavidel's "Rokhsareh." Notably, he received consecutive nominations for Best Supporting Actor at the Fajr Festival for his performances in "A Candle in The Wind," directed by Pouran Derakhshandeh, and "Salvation in Twenty Minutes After Eight," directed by Sirous Alvand.

His breakthrough came when he clinched the Best Actor Award at the Fajr Festival for his role in Tahmineh Milani's "The Superstar." Shahab Hosseini earned an Honorary Diploma for Best Supporting Actor in Asghar Farhadi's "About Elly" in 2008.
