Gholam Hossein Lotfi

Gholamhossein Lotfi, born on November 14, 1949, in Qazvin, Iran, is a distinguished figure in the Iranian film and television industry, known for his work as a writer, director, and actor. He holds a Master's degree in Acting and Directing from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Tehran, obtained in 1982, and has been honored with a Doctorate of Honor in Theatre, recognizing his significant contributions to the field.

Lotfi's cinematic journey began in 1977 with his acting role in "Morning of the Ashes," directed by Taghi Mokhtar. His passion for acting was ignited during his university years, leading him to frequent Arbab Jamshid Street, where he immersed himself in the world of cinema, closely observing and interacting with actors and extras who came to Tehran from various towns.
